As senior vice president, digital commerce and technology, Neelima Sharma is responsible for Lowe’s online business, as well as all customer- and vendor-facing technologies designed to deliver frictionless omnichannel experiences for our customers. In addition, she’s responsible for building technology capabilities related to the company’s core merchandising and private brands, and enabling a competitive pricing strategy that maximizes sales and margin. She joined Lowe’s in 2017.

Neelima has more than 25 years of experience building technology products that drive business outcomes, enhance customer experience and simplify operations. In a prior role, Neelima was vice president, technology, e-commerce at Lowe’s and spearheaded the Lowes.com re-platforming and migration to Google Cloud. Before joining Lowe’s, Neelima served as head of technology for Staples' $8 billion B2B e-commerce business. Previously, she successfully led many transformational technology initiatives that delivered outstanding results at multiple companies, including Staples, JP MorganChase and Deloitte. 

Neelima earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Delhi, India, and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Indore. In 2023, Retail Info Systems named her to its annual roster of Top Women in Retail Tech, and HBS Dealer recognized her as a Top Woman in Hardware & Building Supply. She was recognized in 2022 as the Innovation Leader in Retail Today’s roster of 50 Outstanding Women in Retail. Neelima is on the customer advisory board for Google Cloud and also volunteers as an adviser for early-stage technology startups in the mid-Atlantic region. She serves on the board of Charlotte Center City Partners, a non-profit organization focused on developing Charlotte to become a more equitable, economically vibrant and culturally rich city, and co-chairs Lowe’s Asia Pacific business resource group.
