Musab Balbale is SVP and Chief Merchant at CVS Health. He is responsible for merchandising, the retail digital experience, and store formats, for the CVS front store. Musab has over 20 years of consumer and retail experience and joined CVS in 2022.

Most recently, Musab was Merchandising Vice President of Beauty at Walmart. In that role, he led the transformation of Walmart’s omni-beauty business across stores and ecommerce. He led the team to create innovative, new beauty experiences and increased industry awareness and consumer perception of Walmart Beauty. Prior to that role, Musab led Walmart’s Health, Beauty, and Pharmacy business for Walmart eCommerce. He joined Walmart through its acquisition of Jet.com in 2016, where he was the General Manager of Jet’s pet business.

Prior to Jet and Walmart, Musab was the Vice President of Business Development and International for The Vitamin Shoppe. In that capacity, he led the expansion of Vitamin Shoppe into international markets including Canada, Central and Latin America.

Musab’s earlier career includes strategy at The Boston Consulting Group and at Charles Schwab;and in Private Equity at Summit Partners where he focused on the consumer and retail sectors. Musab has a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
