As Vice-President of Content & Sustainability at Wolf & Badger, Magdalene Barclay is responsible for delivering against the ambitious environmental and social goals that this award-winning B-Corp Certified retailer has set for itself. With 2000 independent brands represented on its award-winning platform, Wolf & Badger connects conscious consumers with ethically sourced, creative and made-to-last collections from designers around the world, both through wolfandbadger.com and via its showroom stores in London, New York City and Los Angeles. As well as leading on its sustainability initiatives, Magdalene is responsible for the organic marketing function in the business, helping grow turnover from $10m to $100m over the past 5 years. Prior to Wolf & Badger, Magdalene worked in editorial at Condé Nast, including covering global art and cultural events for The World of Interiors as editor of its Serious Pursuits column. Magdalene holds a degree from University College London and is now a guest lecturer on their Master’s-level business and sustainability program.
