HG O'Connell is Senior Director of Content for Shoptalk and Content lead for Shoptalk Meetup for Women.

She has a leading role in speaker recruitment and agenda development for Groceryshop, with expertise across all verticals and a specific focus on both legacy and emerging consumer goods brands. HG is a key player on speaker recruitment across all Shoptalk shows, including Shoptalk Spring, Shoptalk Fall, and Shoptalk Europe. Areas of expertise include marketing, merchandising, ecommerce, digital, organizational innovation, health and wellness, and sustainability.

HG has been a core member of the Shoptalk Content team since April 2019. She previously managed member programming at the New Museum of Contemporary Art.

She is Co-Chair of Shoptalk's LGBTQ+ employee resource group, Hyve Pryde.
