Dawn Hedgepeth is the chief marketing officer of HanesBrands International, where she oversees brand strategy and creative execution across the HBI innerwear and apparel brands, including Hanes, Bali, Maidenform and Playtex. She oversees brand marketing, digital marketing, owned site marketing, marketing operations and creative services including packaging across the company’s broad portfolio of apparel and innerwear.

She previously held senior positions at Unilever from 2000 to 2022, including general management of the U.S. deodorants and men’s grooming portfolios as well as the U.S. skin care business, and brand management experience across many Unilever foods and personal care brands throughout her tenure. Her decades of experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry bring a fresh perspective to Hanes’ brand strategy.

Hedgepeth holds an MBA in marketing, strategy, and international business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MPP in international public policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in government from Dartmouth College.
