Anna Barber is a partner at M13, an LA-based venture capital fund investing in the future of consumer behavior, where she focuses on e-commerce enablement and future of work. 

M13 is a Series A fund that has a long history of investing in commerce and commerce enablement.  Current portfolio companies include Max Retail, Rebuy, Ampla and Passport.  M13 also has backed iconic brands like Rothys, Ring, Lyft, Bonobos and Daily Harvest.  

Anna has invested in over 100 early stage companies and is a former retail and commerce founder and operator herself. She's an executive coach and began her career as a corporate lawyer and McKinsey strategy consultant. Anna's career is devoted to helping founders of early stage startups grow and thrive, with a focus on women and other underrepresented founders. She is the Chair of PledgeLA, an initiative of the Annenberg Foundation focused on diversity in the LA tech ecosystem, and a board member at portfolio companies Max Retail, WeeCare, AllVoices and Kindra. She's a mother and stepmother to four members of Gen Z.
