Stephen Mewborn is a partner in the Chicago office. He joined the firm in 2003.

Since joining Bain, Stephen has worked with clients in several industries including:  business travel services, commercial real estate, residential real estate, industrial distribution, packaging, consumer products, retail, entertainment, building products, hospitality and consumer services. He has also worked with Bain’s Private Equity Group. 

His client work has spanned a variety of business problems and functions including core business growth strategy, adjacency growth strategy, organization design, pricing strategy, pricing tactics, international growth strategy, marketing effectiveness, strategic due diligence and operational consolidation & outsourcing. He currently leads Bain’s global pricing practice. 

In 2003, Stephen earned an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School Of Business. He previously received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wabash College.

Stephen lives in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago. In his spare time he enjoys reading, college sports, and spending time with his wife, their three children and their two poorly behaved dogs.
