Karen joined MercadoLibre in 2013 and is currently Mercadolibre´s Ecommerce VP, leading all strategic initiatives such as groceries, retail, fashion & beauty and Cross Border Trade. In this role, Karen pushes for a complete array of products and services to create a more loyal and frequent customer base.

Karen graduated from ORT University in Montevideo with a Business Administration degree. She lived in the US for 10 years where she graduated from the MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA and also worked in strategic consulting at Bain & Company and at Home Depot as their Online Strategy Manager.

Karen currently lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina with her husband and two daughters: Emma and Mila.
