Joe Budano is the CEO of Indyme Solutions, a global leader in customer engagement and loss prevention systems, where he oversees the development and marketing of the SmartResponse suite of retail technology solutions. This powerful messaging gateway connects shoppers with sales associates, optimizes store operations, and enhances security.  SmartResponse is installed in over 35,000 stores worldwide.  In addition to his role at Indyme Solutions, Joe also serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC).

Prior to joining Indyme, he was CEO of several private equity and venture capital backed technology companies ranging in size from pre-revenue to $1.2B. Prior to his business leadership roles, Mr. Budano was a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group providing strategic guidance to fortune 100 companies. Previous to his stint at BCG, he held several engineering and engineering management roles at Motorola.

Mr. Budano has been awarded 16 U.S. patents, holds a BSME degree from Boston University and a Masters of Management degree with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
