HG O'Connell is Director of Content for Shoptalk.

She plays a key role in speaker recruitment and agenda development for Groceryshop, with a specific focus on CPG brands. She is the Content lead for Shoptalk Meetup for Women and contributes to speaker recruitment across all Shoptalk shows, including Shoptalk Spring, Shoptalk Fall, and Shoptalk Europe. Areas of expertise include sustainability, health and wellness, marketing, digital, e-commerce, and professional development.

HG has been a core member of the Shoptalk Content team since April 2019. She previously managed member programming at the New Museum of Contemporary Art.

She is Co-Chair of Shoptalk's LGBTQ+ employee resource group, Hyve Pryde.
