Emma McFerran is Chief Executive Officer of Lyst, the fashion technology platform and shopping app. After starting her career as a corporate lawyer, she jumped into start-up life as the first in-house legal counsel at Lyst, attracted by its culture of innovation, and mission to improve the fashion shopping experience.

Now in her tenth year within the organisation, Emma has worked across all areas of the company and has a deep understanding of the Lyst platform, and the fashion industry it supports. Most recently as COO, Emma led Lyst’s transformation into an app-first business; driving 20 million downloads in the last 2 years.

Key to her role is ensuring that Lyst is always guided by its culture and values, so that the business and its people grow together. Emma is a fierce advocate for diversity and inclusion, who is passionate about building powerful teams and coaching the next generation of leaders.
