Anna Barber is a partner at venture capital firm M13 where she focuses on e-commerce infrastructure, marketplaces, and the future of work.  M13 holds $1B under management and invests nationally from its offices in Los Angeles and New York.  Anna is based in LA and is the Advisory Board Chair of PledgeLA, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to increasing diversity in LA’s tech community. Anna was named one of Forbes’ 50 over 50 for 2023 for her leadership in venture capital.  She was previously the Managing Director of Techstars LA.  She's invested in over 100 early stage companies and is a former founder and operator herself.  She's a certified executive coach and began her career as a corporate lawyer and McKinsey strategy consultant.  Anna received both her BA and JD from Yale University.
