From idea conception to launching, building and running BÉIS has been one of the most rewarding professional experiences for President, Adeela Hussain Johnson. Working side by side with Shay Mitchell and a small (but growing!) team of incredibly hard working, committed and brilliant individuals is more than anyone could hope for and the rewards have been evident in the exponential growth and continued success of the digitally native brand. Adeela’s 20-year career in finance, business, brand marketing and merchandising ranges from large fortune 50 companies, like Target and Ameriprise Financial, to pre-revenue start-ups. Her career has spanned a diverse set of industries and categories offering Adeela a unique perspective in building and growing high performing teams and sustainable, profitable businesses. Each experience has been unique but equally rewarded and has offered her the humbling ability to grow professionally and personally, with each one. Balancing the demands of her professional career and spending quality time with her husband and 3 beautiful children in Southern California is a juggling act, no doubt, but one she wouldn’t trade for the world.
