Come to booth 1660 for some truly quality giveaways. Lunch with Julian Terkaly and Alex Elliott from Treet - no one does branded resale better, and if you’re not doing it you should get in touch with Alex.
Day Two. Shoptalk
EPIC day 1 at Shoptalk Las Vegas! Hearing some super interesting & revealing insights and it’s reinforcing my thoughts about how just how vital AI will be for DTC brands to stay relevant & thrive in the future.
Day 2 at Shoptalk in Vegas! So much glitter, glam, and eCommerce.
Day 1 at Shoptalk was incredibly inspiring. Between hearing Richard Dickson and Hali Borenstein speak and making countless new connections, this has been the most impactful retail conference I’ve ever attended. I can’t wait to bring my insights back to Goody.
Bouncing around from one networking event to the next is part of the grind at events like Shoptalk. Getting to pause for a quick minute and be grateful for the people you get to do with it…makes it well worth it.
Here’s a hot take from Shoptalk Spring. Don’t forget that your customers are humans. While AI and technology get all the buzz, its customers who desire humanized experiences that keep the lights on and drive revenue growth. Be on the lookout for my full event recap via CMSWire this week!
It was a great first day at Shoptalk kicking off with an interesting discussion with Gap Inc.'s CEO, Richard Dickson, on the brand's turnaround. In his description, Gap brands are using community-driven insights to return to relevancy. This includes revisiting shopper fundamentals, what we call Envirosell 101, and specifically rethinking the balance of product vs price signage to tell a simpler story: "Customers don't want to do math." They also highlighted that digital tools are just that - stores and experiences should be digitally-enabled while staying human-centered.
