As vice president, supply chain technology, Vijay Sankararaman is responsible for product management, applications development, technology solutions and overall technology roadmap to support distribution, logistics, transportation, supply chain systems (including field services), fulfillment, demand and inventory planning across the Lowe's enterprise for current and future needs. He joined Lowe’s in 2020.

Vijay has 20 years of experience in supply chain technology. Before joining Lowe's, he served as the head of product management, omni-channel supply chain at Walmart.

Vijay earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Annamalai University. He earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering as well as a master’s degree in information management from Arizona State University. Vijay also earned an Executive MBA (Program for Leadership Development) from Harvard Business School. He serves on the advisory board of directors of Retail Analytics Council and JDA Global Executive Team.
