Dr. Tope Mitchell is a dynamic teacher, researcher, analyst and CEO who helps brands deliver on the promise of inclusive personalization through advocacy and her SaaS platform, Reflekt Me. When Dr. Mitchell didn’t see herself represented in cultural spaces, she decided to build her own mirrors. Dr. Mitchell holds a Masters and PhD in Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in Sociology from University of Washington. She has helped Fortune 500 brands build cultural awareness into their business as associate head of Multicultural Insights and business strategist at award-winning companies including Mintel, Kantar Futures, and Three Group. 

Today, she is CEO and cofounder of Reflekt Me, a SaaS platform that enables retailers to reach 100% (instead of the usual 30%) of their online shoppers by personalizing product images with real people. Dr. Mitchell’s passion for human behavior and consumer advocacy drive her to seek simple brand strategies that increase representation and uplift communities. She is inspired by visions of an inclusive future and her two children, who remind her to approach the world with wonder every day.
