Scott Friend is a partner at Bain Capital Ventures, where he invests in commerce- and marketing-tech companies from the earliest stages through growth. A former seed-to-exit founder of a successful retail analytics company, Scott is a trusted operational partner and advisor to founders building the next generation of retail-tech successes. Prior to BCV, Scott was co-founder and president of ProfitLogic, a retail analytics company acquired by Oracle in 2005. Scott holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in electrical engineering and economics from Brown University.
