Jordyn Holman is an award-winning reporter at Bloomberg News and Bloomberg Businessweek, where she writes about the changing world of retail, consumerism, and labor. She covers and breaks news on the largest department stores and retailers in the U.S., including Macy’s, Gap and Home Depot. Previously, Jordyn reported on race, class and gender in Corporate America and how companies approach pressing social issues within their workforces. She is also a reporter for Bloomberg’s award-winning podcast on money wealth, The Pay Check, and a frequent on-camera presence on QuickTake by Bloomberg. Jordyn is a contributor to Marketplace, the business radio show, in addition to her regular Bloomberg TV and radio appearances.
Jordyn is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. She has received industry honors from the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, NABJ, New York Association of Black Journalists and the Los Angeles Press Club. The Chicago native has previously lived and worked in New York City and Los Angeles.
