Chief Marketing Officer
Emily Essner is Chief Marketing Officer of Saks, the premier digital platform for luxury fashion. She is responsible for the marketing strategy including growth, brand, creative, public relations, communications and events across the Saks Fifth Avenue ecosystem. Prior to being appointed to this role when Saks became a standalone ecommerce company in March 2021, Emily was Chief Marketing Officer of Saks Fifth Avenue as of July 2020. Previously, she held various leadership roles with Saks Fifth Avenue and HBC across marketing, business operations and corporate strategy. Before that, Emily was a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College.
