Cathey Curtis is the General Manager for the American region of ROXY, a women's apparel brand that draws inspiration from surf and beach culture. With over 25 years of experience in various roles within fashion retailing, she specializes in driving profitable growth through the implementation of innovative product and marketing strategies. Her focus is on building a passionate consumer base through a holistic approach that balances franchise product growth strategies with highly creative and culture-moving brand moments.
Cathey is a strong advocate for brand-led marketing and is an authority in strategic leadership from turnarounds to startups. She is currently writing her first book, tentatively titled "A Brand with Soul."
While in Hong Kong, Cathey founded the Sakka Foundation, which serves economically challenged children in Cambodia. She is also a member of the venture philanthropy group Gen Next and serves on the board of directors for the Surf Industry Members' Association.
Cathey travels extensively to build businesses, relationships, and speak in multiple countries. She and her family currently reside in Laguna Beach, California, with her 11-year-old daughter, partner Todd, and their two dogs, Candy and Jordan.
