Sarah Wilde

VP, Analytics


As Vice President of Analytics, Sarah Wilde leads the analytics functions across several departments at Overstock, including testing & optimization, web, SEO, search, customer, and pricing. For the past several years, Wilde has been a crucial contributor to the algorithms team as they have implemented AI and machine learning technologies across the various company verticals.

She has been involved in all aspects of implementing AI and ML techniques, including data pipelines, data wrangling, and continued monitoring of AI products. Wilde has worked with both internal and external experts to develop a dynamic pricing model that works with sparse data and has developed an offline ranking algorithm, which is the precursor to the implementation of an LTR ranking approach. 

Wilde first joined Overstock in 2012 and has held a number of roles including web analyst, senior pricing strategist, and director of algorithmic site sort. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at Brigham Young University and as an analyst in loss reserving and risk analysis for Liberty Mutual.

Wilde graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science.
