With 20 years of global market operating experience, Kate Minner is a marketer with a consistent record of positioning brands for success and developing groundbreaking solutions that engage consumers and build brands. She brings extensive knowledge in brand development as well as brand communications, digital integration and experiential initiatives to the Sperry team.
Since joining Sperry in 2018 as Chief Marketing Officer, Kate has re-energized the marketing team, assembling a group of experienced leaders in the areas of digital, communications and creative. Kate continues to develop and drive brand strategy to deliver the brand’s current growth plan. Kate has fostered key partnerships and collaborations with brands such as goop, which have made a positive impact on Sperry’s ability to connect with new and existing consumers in an impactful way.
Kate has spearheaded and developed Sperry’s new sustainability initiative, ‘Look Good. Do Good.’ in partnership with the Waterkeeper Alliance and BIONIC®. Kate implemented a sustainable mindset within corporate culture which inspired the Sperry employee’s passion for the cause. In 2020, Kate introduced a brand ambassadorship with EGOT winner, John Legend in celebration of Sperry’s 85th Anniversary Year.
Kate spent over a decade living in London where she held leadership roles at Lacoste Footwear, William Grant & Sons and L'Oréal. Her global experience has enhanced her ability to build a consistent brand image for Sperry worldwide, and drive new international opportunities. Kate recently moved back to the States and currently resides in Boston.
