Chief Marketing Officer
Alicia Alongi is the Chief Marketing Officer of ThumbStopper®, a software as a service (SaaS) social media marketing company based out of Tampa, Florida. In this role, Alicia oversees brand marketing and communications strategy, focusing on driving growth through new verticals and evangelizing current happy customers. Her company, ThumbStopper, helps brands and retailers generate micro-moments of engagement through the curation, segmentation, and syndication of high-value content across leading social media platforms.
Prior to joining ThumbStopper, Alicia led account management and business insights in the augmented and virtual reality space at Marxent, where she worked with brands like Macy’s, Ashley, and La-Z-Boy to implement and merchandise the SaaS technology across hundreds of retail locations. Before that, Alicia led marketing strategy at multi-location marketing and SaaS firm PowerChord, where she led digital marketing strategy for thousands of retail locations on behalf brands like Kohler, STIHL, and Grasshopper.
