Jennifer Goldfarb is President and Co-Founder of ipsy, the beauty company of the creator movement. Built for the new lifecycle of the beauty industry, ipsy and its powerful community are changing the face of the beauty industry at massive scale. Founded in 2011 with Michelle Phan, YouTube’s biggest beauty creator, ipsy now works with more than 8,000 creators and has pioneered content-driven commerce.
On a foundation of half a billion content views each month, ipsy has built the Glam Bag, a highly personalized membership program that fuels trial and education for more than 3 million members monthly, and ipsy Shopper, a thriving online beauty marketplace with over 20,000 products that provides customized recommendations plus cash back on every single purchase.
Prior to starting ipsy, Jennifer spent seven years with Bare Escentuals, first running the company’s infomercial business, and subsequently serving as VP of Corporate Strategy. Jennifer started her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs after graduating from Duke University and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She is a mom of 8 year old twins and lives in Menlo Park, CA.
