Cathey Curtis is the Global Vice President of Women’s Marketing for Billabong . With an over 25-year career in varying roles within fashion retailing, Cathey has found her sweet spot in marketing. A senior level global executive, Cathey has worked across the world, included serving as the General Manager of a retail joint venture, opening 75 retail store locations in Mainland China and Hong Kong. Today Cathey focuses on driving profitable growth through a fully integrated, global marketing approach. With experience in retail brick and mortar, B2B, and B2C brick & mortar and e-commerce, Cathey works cross-departmentally to create and execute marketing strategy catered to build current and future revenue. Cathey is passionate about a brand-led marketing approach and is an expert in content marketing & influencer marketing.
During her time in Hong Kong, Cathey founded the Sakka Foundation – serving economically challenged children in Cambodia. She is a member of the venture philanthropy group, Gen Next, and on the board of directors for the Surfing Heritage and Culture Center. Cathey travels extensively, building businesses, relationships and speaking in multiple countries. Today, with a beautiful 7-year-old daughter, longtime partner Todd and her Hong Kong rescue dog, Cathey and her family reside in Laguna Beach, California.
