Since joining Gap Inc. in April 2009, Blair has worked exclusively at Old Navy, applying his leadership experience in various strategic and operational roles that directly contribute to the brand’s success.

 

He is currently SVP at Old Navy, where he is responsible for leading all aspects of US e-commerce, including strategy, digital merchandising, web operations, and collaborating with other functional leaders to improve profitability of the channel. He also supports the Canada online business and partners with Gap Inc. to drive the larger online strategy for the company’s continued digital evolution, leading the rollout of several omni-channel initiatives, such as Buy Online Pick-up In-Store (BOPIS).

 

Previously, Blair was VP & General Manager of Franchise, Mexico, Canada and Japan operations at Old Navy, a division of Gap Inc., where he led the teams responsible for growing Old Navy around the globe. Under his oversight, the Franchise team has launched Old Navy through partnerships in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia.

 

He also had responsibility for Old Navy’s Mexico and Canada HQ Operations, including Product Strategy, Inventory Management, Commercial Planning, and the Omni-Channel strategy, supporting 77 stores and the online business in Canada, and the launch of nine stores in Mexico in October 2015.

 

Blair was also Sr. Director of Inventory Management Shared Services for Old Navy North America. His team led several initiatives focused on improving in-stock position in Old Navy stores, including the implementation of pricing optimization and continuous improvement of product allocation. With an intense focus on operational excellence, Blair is well respected as a leader capable of translating theory into practice in order to drive results.

 

Prior to Old Navy, Blair was a Case Team Leader for Bain & Company’s consulting practice with a focus on retail industry clients and private equity diligence. Earlier in his career, he led the Merchandise Planning team for KB*Toy Outlets.

 

Blair received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and three children.
