Managing Director, Branded Manufacturers, Google
April Anderson leads Google's advertising operations as Managing Director for the biggest global manufacturer brands in the Apparel, Home Durables and Toys categories. She works with her partners to leverage digital to drive strategic goals and lasting business impact. Prior to her current role, April led Google's Retail advertising operation, with former leadership roles across sales and operations since joining Google in 2002.
April has a B.A. in International Relations and a M.A. in Sociology from Stanford University. She serves on the NRF Digital Council, Shop.org Content Committee and several advisory boards in the Retail and nonprofit spaces. She is also a passionate advocate on topics of workplace diversity, women’s leadership development and support for working parents, within Google and beyond.
April currently resides in Mountain View, CA with her husband and two young children. She enjoys running in her “spare” time and once ran a 200+ mile relay race
with a van full of 10 other Googlers.
