For more than fifteen years, Jacob King has cultivated an expertise in helping companies understand the wants and needs of their customers, leveraging data and insights to create holistic strategies for improving customer loyalty. For the past year as Vice President, Marketing & Analytics, Jacob is responsible for connecting Partners to their customer, influencing behavior and driving business growth.
Prior to joining American Express, Jacob was Senior Vice President/General Manager for dunnhumby New York, where he led the long-term retail growth strategy as well as overseeing dunnhumby’s customer analytics contract with Macy’s, the largest U.S. department store retailer. Previously, he held various leadership roles within dunnhumby across retail solutions, analytics, and market research working with such brands as Kroger, The Home Depot, PepsiCo, General Mills, and L’Oreal. Jacob began his career in marketing research and product development for Procter & Gamble and then Newell Brands.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He lives in Westchester, New York with his wife and two children.
